Born from a grandmother’s recipe. Refined for modern skin.
Every jar of Inherited Skincare carries the memory of an evening ritual. Our founder, Suruchi, grew up watching her Indian grandmother, Leela, press warm ghee into her face and hands before bed — a practice passed down through generations. The brand is literally named in her honour.
When modern skincare — parabens, synthetic fragrance, harsh actives — left Suruchi’s skin reactive, she returned to what she had inherited: ghee. As few ingredients as possible, all natural. No shortcuts.
At the heart of every formula is washed ghee — clarified butter washed, traditionally one hundred times in Ayurvedic practice, into a light whipped texture. It penetrates all seven layers of the skin, carrying butyric acid and vitamins A, D, E and K to feed the skin barrier in a way no synthetic substitute can replicate.
